Thank you for using our products and services (“Services”). The Services are provided by Upvise, Sebastian Scheuer (“Upvise”, “we”, “our”, and “us”), located at Rådans Gårdsväg 54, 19138 Sollentuna, Sweden.

By using the Services, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully.

The Services are very diverse, so sometimes additional terms or product requirements (including age requirements) may apply. Additional terms will be available and shared with you with other relevant Services as part of collaborations, and those additional terms become part of your agreement with Upvise if you use those Services.

1. Using the services

By accessing the website at https://www.upvise.co (or any other domain ending such for instance .se or .de, “Sites”), you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing these Sites. The materials contained on the Sites are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

Don’t misuse the Services. For example, don’t interfere with Services or try to access them using a method other than the interface and the instructions that are provided to you by Upvise. You may use the Services only as permitted by law, including applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations. Upvise may suspend or stop providing the Services to you if you do not comply with the terms or policies or if Upvise is investigating suspected misconduct.

Using the Services does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in the Services or the content you access. You may not use content from Upvise or the Services unless you obtain written permission from its owner or are otherwise permitted by law. These terms do not grant you the right to use or customise any branding or logos used in the Services. Don’t remove, obscure, or alter any legal notices displayed in or along with the Services.

A. Personal Data that is collected about you

Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. The Personal Data that you provide directly to Upvise through the Sites will be apparent from the context in which you provide the data. In particular:

When you contact Upvise through one of our forms or chatbots Upvise collects your full name, email address, phone numbers, company details and the information you shared with Upvise, and anything else you tell about your project, needs and timeline.

If you submit or share with Upvise any documents, Upvise might store them or place links to them in internal platforms.

When you respond to emails or surveys from us, Upvise may collect your email address, name and any other information you choose to include in the body of your email or responses. If you contact Upvise by phone, we may collect the phone number you use from to call Upvise. If you contact Upvise by phone as a prospect or customer, Upvise may ask for additional information from you in order to verify your identity.

2. Privacy and copyright protection

Upvise’s privacy policies explain how your personal data is treated and your privacy is protected when you use the Services. By using the Services, you agree that Upvise can use such data in accordance with the privacy policies.

Upvise provides information to help copyright holders manage their intellectual property online. Upvise uses image materials from platforms as Unsplash and honours authors rights. If you think Upvise is violating your copyrights, please let us know.

3. Your content in the Services

Some of the Services allow you to upload, submit, store, send or receive content. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in that content. In short, what belongs to you stays yours. However, Upvise is not responsible for any intellectual-property from third-parties used in your submitted data, content or documents. Please make sure you have the necessary rights to grant Upvise eventual licenses and to have Upvise see, access and use any content that you provide.

4. Accuracy of materials

The content and materials appearing on the Sites could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Upvise does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete or current. Upvise may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice. However, Upvise does not make any commitment to update the materials.

Upvise has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Upvise of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user’s own risk. Upvise also bears no responsibility for the accuracy, legality or content of the external site or for that of subsequent links. Contact the external site for answers to questions regarding its content.

6. Modifications

Upvise may revise the Sites, Services and these terms at any time without notice. By using the Sites you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms and conditions.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.

Upvise also may collect information about your online activities in Services and connected devices over time and across third-party websites, devices, apps and other online features and services. Upvise uses, for example, Google Analytics and Hubspot on the Sites to help us analyze your use of the Sites and diagnose technical issues.
